Pause 2027

Pause is a thoughtfully curated retreat designed for women who need an intentional pause from the whirlwind of obligations and commitments that swallow the days, weeks, and months of life. If your work demands are real, if you don't always make yourself a priority, if it feels like you don't have time to take time off, this event is for you.

You'll join eight of your peers for three days of connection, guided reflection, thought-provoking group coaching sessions and of course, time for fun and relaxation too.

This carefully crafted weekend experience allows you to answer the important, but not necessarily urgent, questions of life.

Some of the questions we will explore: Where am I now?  Which doors have opened and which are closing? What will this next season ask of me? What changes do I need to make? Where do I want to head next? What new skills, habits of thinking, or strategies do I need to acquire? What idea, opportunity, or knowing is chasing me down right now?

Where are we staying?

A stunning luxury lodge nestled in the Cascade Mountains, just 12 miles from downtown Bend, Oregon, surrounded by towering pines, pristine wilderness, and some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Pacific Northwest. Imagine spending your days hiking scenic trails, boating on the lake, unwinding in the sauna or simply unwinding in the fresh mountain air. And when you're ready to explore, the vibrant restaurants, art galleries, and shops of downtown Bend are just minutes away.

Tumalo Lake Lodge is the perfect basecamp for adventure, and the perfect place to do absolutely nothing at all.

The closest airports are Redmond/Bend (RDM), approximately 30 minutes away, or Portland (PDX) for those who want to make a longer scenic drive of it.

Our Luxury Location

Past Pause

Take a look at some of the fun we had in years past!

Had we not said yes to this weekend retreat, we most certainly would have filled our time with errands, cooking for our families, answering our emails, and anything else that was loud enough to move us to action. But because we made a choice for ourselves, to leave the busyness of our regular routine, we experienced intentional rest in a powerful way. We were quiet. We paused, and in pausing we came alive.

Our time together drew all of us to new realizations. We asked and answered hard questions. We contemplated our life choices—the big stuff like marriage, careers, and health. It was a safe space to be vulnerable. This vulnerability revealed our value. Understanding our value is the greatest realization we could ever know. We paused, and in pausing we internalized our worth.
