Meet Amy
I'm Amy Kemp. I've been called too much, too.
I stopped letting it shape how I feel about myself and built a business for women like me instead.
The Work
My work is built on one belief: you can't outwork your thought habits. The patterns running underneath your success — the ones telling you you're too much, or that slowing down isn't allowed — are the real thing to change. Everything else is just effort layered on top.
What that looks like depends on where you are right now.
If you want expert guidance — close and personal, or alongside a room full of women who can actually keep up with you — that's coaching. I offer both 1:1 coaching and small group coaching, built around the same method: replacing the thought habits running underneath your success with ones that actually serve you.
If you want to grow in person, I lead two experiences each year — Refresh, which is built for connection and fun, and Pause, a retreat built for deep, focused work. After either one, you leave different than you arrived.
If you want to move at your own pace, my self-guided courses — including Money Is a Mirror and A Boundary Is Not a Wall — are built to get you unstuck, no waitlist required.
And if you want to start with a book in hand, I See You: A Guide for Women to Make More, Have More, and Be More — Without More Work is designed to feel like a coaching session with me. I wrote it for you.
Outside of Work
Outside of work, I'm married to my husband Ryan — twenty-five-plus years now — and together we're raising three kids: Avery, Anthony, and Andrew. They're the ones who keep me honest about what any of this is actually for.
I read constantly. Not as a productivity habit, but because I love it — and because the right book at the right time has changed how I think more than any framework I've built myself.
The rest of me competes on the pickleball court four or five times a week, spends hours elbow-deep in my flower beds, or cheers enthusiastically for my kids at whatever game is happening that weekend. Theater, music, and travel round out the list — these are the things that inspire me and fill my life.
Bio and Headshots
Amy Kemp works with women who've been told they're too much - too direct, too ambitious, too intense. Her work starts from a simple premise: they're not.
As founder and CEO of Amy Kemp, Inc. and a certified Habit Finder coach, Amy guides high-achieving women through the subconscious thought habits that unknowingly cap their income, their leadership, and their lives. More than 400 women have gone through her four-month small-group coaching engagements, with hundreds more in one-on-one work.
Her methodology also drives two annual in-person experiences — a retreat called Pause, built for deep work, and a trip called Refresh with twenty women, built for connection and play — plus a library of selt-guided courses on topics like money and boundaries. Her first book, I See You: A Guide for Women to Make More, Have More, and Be More — Without More Work, distills it all into one line: you can't outwork your thought habits.
Amy lives what she teaches. Married to Ryan for twenty-five years and raising three kids — Avery, Anthony, and Andrew — she's built a business that lets her be fully herself in every room, professional and personal, without shrinking in either. She speaks and writes for one reason: to hand other capable women the permission they've been waiting for.
On My Nightstand
Few things get me more energized and inspired more than a really fabulous book. Here are my top books about life and leadership... and trust me, I’ve read a LOT. These really are my greatest word treasures, books that have left an indelible imprint on my life.
