For Women Law Firm Leaders
The Table
Where women law firm owners come to build the firm, and the leader, that changes everything.
For Women Who Carry It All
You’re the only one who understands what this actually costs.
The employee who isn’t working out. The client who’s frustrated. The team that still depends on you for every little thing. The growth you’re chasing, and the growing suspicion that the next level will simply require more of you than the last one did.
You’ve built something real. But there’s rarely a room where you can say any of that out loud, and mean it.

The Story
Two women.
One table.
Sixteen years ago, Simone left a firm that had everything anyone could see: the settlements, the cars, the success. None of it mattered. The year her son turned two and her daughter turned five, she spent thirty-eight nights away from home. Thirty-eight bedtimes missed. So she left, and started her own firm.
She believed she was finally building the firm she’d always wanted. The truth was, she was building whatever had her attention that day, carrying every decision, every hard conversation, every next step. Because that’s what capable women do. We adapt. We become the person everyone counts on. After a while, it simply feels normal.
Then her partner said five words that changed everything: “We need a Plan B.”
Simone doesn’t believe in Plan Bs. So instead of looking for one, she stepped back and truly looked at the firm she’d created. Thirty years as a trial lawyer had taught her that the obvious answer is rarely the whole answer; the truth usually lives beneath what everyone else can already see. She’d done that in courtrooms for years. She’d never done it inside her own firm.
“I hadn’t built something different. I’d rebuilt exactly what I’d left.”
One person still sat at the center of every decision. The names had changed. The address had changed. The structure hadn’t. That’s when The Set-Up began: the understanding that everything about a firm needs to rest on something solid. Five pillars, working together as a foundation: People, Pipeline, Process, Product, and Profitability. She stopped building whatever had her attention, and started building intentionally. Her leadership changed. The way she experienced owning a firm changed, because the structure beneath it did.
That’s why she and Amy created The Table. Amy has an extraordinary gift for creating safety. Women feel seen with her, and that safety makes room for honesty. Simone’s gift is different: she creates clarity, helping women step back far enough to see what they’re building, and to tell the difference between what truly needs their attention and what simply has it.
“I know what it costs to give a year to anything when your calendar is already full. I also know what it costs not to.”
The Table is a year because foundations aren’t strengthened in a weekend. The hope is that you leave building intentionally, with a foundation strong enough to support the business you’re creating, the leader you’re becoming, and the life you want that business to make possible.
“A place where remarkable women come together to build what matters. So pull up a chair. We created this space for you.”
The Work Is Twofold
Transform the firm. Transform yourself.
The Table brings together Simone Fulmer Gaus’s five-pillar firm framework and Amy Kemp’s inner-work methodology to create what no other program in this space offers: the simultaneous transformation of the firm and the founder.
It was not supposed to feel like this. And it doesn’t have to.
Our Promise
Safe and hard at the same time.
A private space where the hard conversations actually happen, where every woman is truly seen, and where what is said at The Table stays at The Table.

The Experience
A year of real work, on the firm and on yourself.
An intentionally small cohort of eight to ten women. Never a lecture hall or a webinar. A real table, with room for every voice.
The Year at a Glance
The rhythm of the year.
The cohort begins in November 2026. Every touchpoint is anchored to the first Thursday of the month, immersions and Zooms alike, with Friday Set-Up Time running quietly underneath, every week.
Friday Set-Up Time (Co-Working) runs every Friday at 11:00 AM CST, optional but strongly encouraged, pausing only for holidays and the Friday after each immersion. 1:1s with Simone and Amy are scheduled privately by Calendly.
Your materials
Every participant receives both books and the workbook: the foundation you build from together.
Build what matters. Fix what’s broken. Finally make your firm work. Plus the companion Workbook for Law Firms.
A book for the woman who built something real, and is tired of paying for it with pieces of herself. About finally building something: a business, a life, a legacy, without losing yourself inside it.
What You’ll Be Building
The Five Pillars
The Set-Up is built on five interconnected pillars that replace the outdated, owner-heavy model holding most firms back. Instead of chasing new hires, new software, or new marketing tactics every time something breaks, The Set-Up helps firm owners fix the actual problem: a weak foundation.
When these five pillars work together, the firm becomes clearer, calmer, more profitable, and far less dependent on the owner.
People
Your Core
You hear “People” and think hiring, HR. Yes, that’s part of it, but the People pillar goes deeper. It’s your culture, your daily climate, and the leadership that keeps everything steady. Without it, your team disengages and your firm feels heavier than it should. With a strong People pillar, you get a team that wants success for your firm as much as you do.
Pipeline
Your Framework
Pipeline maps how work moves through your firm: the stages of a case, who owns each step, where responsibilities hand off. Without it, you’re the bottleneck. Nobody else knows what happens next or whose job it is. With Pipeline, cases move without you directing every step.
Process
Your Engine
Process is the repeatable systems that keep your firm running. You might think you have Process because you have checklists. But if your processes only work when you’re there to enforce them, that’s not Process. Without it, small problems become emergencies. With it, the work gets done right whether you’re in the building or not.
Product
Your Service
Product is the legal work itself: the advocacy, the strategy, the client experience. You probably try to fix Product first. Most firms do. But Product can only be excellent when all five pillars work together. Without the other pillars, even your best work feels inconsistent and exhausting. With a complete foundation, you deliver quality consistently.
Profitability
Your Results
Profitability isn’t just the outcome. It’s a pillar of its own. Your numbers tell the truth about how your firm is functioning. Without this pillar, you’re guessing about what you can afford and whether you’re making progress. With it, you have clarity to make confident decisions.
The Year-End Experience
You did the hard thing. Now exhale.
A year of showing up, for the firm, for yourself, for the candid conversations, deserves a real close. Not a webinar. Not a certificate. Four days at Nayara Springs, tucked into the rainforest beneath the Arenal Volcano, each woman in her own suite with a private plunge pool.
This isn’t a retreat bolted onto the end of a program. It’s what’s earned after a year of telling the truth at The Table.

Four days, equal parts celebration and rest, with the only other women who understand exactly what this year cost, and what it built.

Everything is covered except airfare. Trip dates to be announced.
Is This You?
The Table is for women who…
- Built their firm without asking for permission.
- Carry the weight of everyone and everything.
- Have tried the tactics, and still feel like something is missing.
- Know there has to be a better way.
- Are ready to lead, and live, differently.
The Investment
The Table will have seats for only eight to ten women from around the country, selected by Simone and Amy, by design. The depth of this work demands a room without competition, where every woman is truly seen.
This is not a mastermind, and it is not general business coaching. It is not the right fit for a firm without a team, or for a woman who is not ready to look honestly at her own leadership. It is for the woman who is done carrying it alone, and ready to build something that lasts.
Questions
What women ask before they say yes
How is this different from a traditional business mastermind?
This isn’t a typical transactional business group focused on marketing and business tactics. It’s a transformational community of women committed to building a different kind of firm.
How are the eight to ten women selected?
This first round is by invitation. We’re mindful of the mix in the room, so every woman can speak freely without a competitor across the table.
What if I miss an immersion or a group Zoom?
Each immersion is built around the women in the room that day, so we encourage you to protect those three dates on your calendar early. Every group Zoom is recorded, so the content is always there for you, even on a week that gets away from you.
Do I need to have read the books before I start?
Reading The Set-Up and I See You ahead of time will give you a head start on the language and ideas we build from together, though most of what matters unfolds at the table itself.
Is this a fit for a firm my size?
The Table is a fit for any law firm owner who leads a team, whatever the size of that team.
What’s expected of me outside the scheduled sessions?
Between sessions, the real work continues: putting the ideas into practice, working alongside your team, and building the buy-in that makes lasting change possible.
Is what I share about my firm kept confidential from the other women?
Everything said at The Table stays at The Table. Your private one-on-ones with Simone and Amy are held in strict confidence.
